Reporting to the CEO, led the strategic oversight of the human resources function working closely with senior leadership in our focus on our culture. Managed the HR due diligence and people integration of the acquisition by IBM.

Led the strategic oversight of the human resources function as a member of the Executive Team, reporting to the CEO. Main responsibilities include continued oversight and development of all benefit plans, working closely with the relationship with company strategy in reimbursement through health care reform; continued oversight of the HR due diligence function for acquisitions and strategic planning for employee acclimation; oversight of labor and employment legal issues in partnership with general counsel; and succession and compensation strategic initiatives.

* Spearheaded the creation and strategic oversight of the human resources department, including risk management, recruitment, training, benefits, administration, payroll, employee relations and discipline; * Member of the Executive Team, reporting directly to the CEO;* Oversee a total staff of 26; * Developed and oversaw the human resources function through strong growth, both organically and through acquisitions, resulting in a 1500% increase in employee population within a six year time frame. * Responsible for development and revision recommendations for Company human resources policy and procedure manual; * Orchestrated the development and revision recommendations for Company handbook; * Oversaw the development of an HRIS system and self service portal implementation over a multi-state environment; * Developed employee onboarding, including new hire orientation, initial compliance and welcome process for culture introduction; * Developed and recommended revisions for systems to track turnover, track employee data, transition employee changes through self-service portals, and obtain on-going feedback, utilizing data for recommendations for improving employee processes for recruitment and retention;* Evaluated and implemented the following: (1) RFP process for a new 401K provider and external investment fiduciary; (2) RFP process for a benefit administration provider; (3) RFP process for an electronic I-9 system; and (4) organizational development software system.* Developed and oversaw all company benefit plans, focusing on wellness initiatives and consumer driven health care under a self insured model resulting in control of employee benefit costs;* Pioneered the "Employer of Choice" strategy resulting in consistent recognition.

* Oversaw recruitment, training, benefits, employee relations, and discipline for Four Seasons Chicago property; * Member of the Planning Committee, reporting directly to the Hotel General Manager; * Directed a staff of 5 which consistently held strong HR management approval scores * Served as a trainer for HR topics; * Oversaw strategic plan for maintaining non-union status; and * Oversaw discipline and terminations of all staff.
