Partnering with the leadership team to develop and design a learning culture to support employee career goals in alignment with Lewis's Vision, Values, Guiding Principles and continuous learning practices. I am an employee champion supporting our continual learning, coaching and fulfillment culture.I design, develop and deliver leadership and development curriculum for Lewis employees. Curriculum that includes competency mapping, training material and content that is relevant, impactful, engaging and meaningful.

This content includes Orientation & Onboarding of new hires, soft skills, leadership & management, project management, and early career professional development. Proposed and buildt Sellen’s brand new Learning and Development program suite on topics including employee professional development, advanced manager training, learning and enrichment, career growth, team-based personality assessments, guest speakers, and more.

Enjoyed being a member of Marriott's Global Learning Organization; specializing in the design, development, production and management of e-based learning, facilitator lead, and virtual training programs along with the tools, resources, and packaging of each program.

Deliver and sustain national learning programs for all Marriott brands, disciplines and national conferences. Customize and conduct teambuildings and learning solutions throughout organization.

Delivered training to new opening properties for Marriott International. Responsible for ensuring that all employees and managers were ready to provide the service that Marriott is known for, once their doors were open. Provided direction and guidance to on-site Project Managers related to hotel readiness. Informed Managers of Franchising about status of each property prior to their arrival. Served as a regional specialist in the event a hotel was without a General Manager. Able to analyze and diagnose hotels which were not meeting standards. Incorporated action plans and assisted in monitoring progress for the regional team.

Held various Operations Management positions at a variety Courtyard by Marriott hotels. (Restaurant Manager, Housekeeping Manager, and Front Office Manager)
