Lisa Hastings is a doctor of chiropractic who founded Clear Point Wellness in 2005 after graduating from Life University in Atlanta, GA. She got to Austin, TX as quick as she could to start up her practice and put down some roots in the community. She grew up in Washington DC, went to school in West Virginia and California, though before Atlanta, she lived in Houston, TX for 5 years, and Texas called her back home ever since.Now Lisa operates a wellness clinic with her team. She is developing her own methods of care called MultiSensory Functional Integration (MSFIntegration). The premise is that we are not considered broken, simply adapting well to our environment. The consequence of adapting over time leads to areas of sensory blindness, restrictions and symptoms, finding us wanting more flexibility in our bodies and minds. MSFIntegration restores flow within and between systems of the body resulting in people feeling like themselves again.She began teaching these methods in December 2016. She also has goals of integrating research into her clinic. Everything takes time.Personally she has an amazing husband, Phil, who also owns his own statistical consulting business, Far Harbor. They live in Zilker while their boy, Kai, is studying film and communications at Humboldt State University.
