C.T. Male is where I was first exposed to marketing for the built environment, and I've stayed with this industry ever since. I started at the 300-person firm as an Administrative Assistant for their newly formed Architectural Group, and over the next five years, I assumed the roles of Marketing Coordinator, Senior Marketing Coordinator, and eventually, Marketing Manager - working under the leadership of a tremendous Marketing Director and my mentor.I was responsible for managing and monitoring aspects of the marketing program including market research, proposals and presentations, corporate image, lead tracking, advertising, public relations, direct mail, and other corporate communications.As my responsibilities grew, I interviewed, hired, trained, and managed the Marketing Coordinators in the New York and New England offices; assisted in the preparation of the annual marketing budget and plan; and served on the firm’s Executive Committee.
