Advocate making homeless rare and brief. Responsible for operations of the Knoxville-Knox County Homeless Management Information System, a secure on-line database housing over 50,000 records of persons experiencing homelessness in Knoxville.

Advocate for women, youth, and families. Provided program development, evaluation, quality assurance, grant writing, reporting, and program fiscal oversight to the agency--serving 3,500 clients annually.

Utilized therapeutic interventions among caseload of 30 incarcerated adults to reduce and prevent further incarceration. This included accepting referrals from attorney and social services team, consulting with legal defense, and coordinating inmate care and discharge planning.

Co-facilitated adult intensive out-patient, dual diagnosis, after-care, impaired professionals, and women’s supportive living treatment groups applying AA/NA step-work, motivational interviewing, and group therapy to prevent client relapse.

Supervised community center for persistently mentally ill adults. This included managing budgets,fundraising, reporting, supervising 8 consumer staff, training peer volunteers to supplement staffing,growing daily participation from 45 to 70 members, recruiting an advisory board, developing psycho educational activities, and initiating a therapeutic gardening program in the 4th and Gill neighborhood.

Implemented agency-wide 7-day new employee orientation cycle scheduling trainers and speakers,facilitated training for staff to meet accreditations and developed continuing education opportunities.
