I started my career as an IT professional and have worked as a desktop technician, software quality assurance tester and systems integrator. I was thrown into entrepreneurship when a partner and I started an IT business. With absolutely no experience in running a business, I went back to school, sought out leadership training and any mentor I could find. The path I've followed over the last 30 years helps me understand the struggles all entrepreneurs go through and I feel like I have a lot of experience to share. I am a mother, a coach and mentor, a technology professional, an avid runner, and a passionate and outspoken advocate of small business in New Mexico. As a serial entrepreneur and leader in the technology community, I understand the importance of creating work environments in which creative, assertive and intelligent professionals can succeed while loving their jobs, and maintaining health, wellness and balance in their lives.I am the Chief Operating Officer of two privately funded coworking/business incubators: FatPipe NM and The BioScience Center. FatPipe NM is a network of collaborative spaces for soloworkers, remote workers and small businesses of all types. FatPipe has two locations: ABQ, and East Mountains. The BioScience Center is an incubator/accelerator for startups in biotech and life sciences. I hold a Bachelor's Degree from the University of New Mexico in Information Systems and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Webster University.
