Lisa MacDonald received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Acadia University and a Master's Degree from the University of Calgary with a focus on wildlife species at risk. Lisa has experience planning, conducting, monitoring and participating in biological research within Canada and abroad. Lisa MacDonald has over eight years of combined experience conducting laboratory analyses and field work in remote locations within Canada and abroad in both the public and private sectors. She has undergone intensive training in wildlife survey techniques which she has used to design and conduct studies on numerous species and components associated with these studies, including preparation of methodologies, sampling schedules, project budgets, proposals, grant applications and scientific publications. Lisa is employed as an Environmental Scientist / Ecologist at CBCL Limited, and engineering and environmental consulting firm in Atlantic Canada, where Lisa is responsible for managing environmental projects for private and public sector clients, managing and coordinating environmental aspects of multi-disciplinary engineering projects, conducting ecological field surveys, environmental baseline studies, technical reporting, environmental assessments and regulatory permitting.
