The Technical Deputy (TD), Incident Response will work with an incident response tiger team toassist the Engagement Lead and manage the restoration tasks to ensure the successful forensicinvestigation and restoration of clients from network intrusions. The TD is the overall technicalengagement leader for the Tiger Team and is accountable for providing deeper technicalexpertise. This role will be responsible for the management of technical tasks and resources andto also identify and follow best practices and emerging trends of ransomware. This is a hands-on,technical role that requires working and communicating effectively with both internal teammembers and clients.

As an Engineer at Arete, Lisa Jones is responsible for onsite incident response including: securing the environment, collecting digital forensics, assisting clients with restoration and recovery, and decrypting (as needed). She is often your onsite technical point of contact throughout the engagement, collaborating with internal and external resources to execute the playbook in the most timely and efficient manner.
