As Head Registrar at Etherton Gallery, I was the database administrator for a program called Artsystems A5 which tracked inventory, sales, invoices, contacts and earnings for the business. I created custom itemized reports and gave these findings to our Accountant for tax purposes. My duties also included processing check and online deposits and keeping accurate Accounts Receivable, Partial Pay and Paid in Full records. My role expanded to managing Artsy.net, an online sales platform for fine art. I listed over 4,000 artworks for sale on the Etherton Gallery Artsy page, as well as conducted online transactions and international packing and shipping. In addition, I managed the gallery's website through a custom themed Wordpress and was responsible for adding and updating content. I photographed each exhibition and edited the photographs in Adobe Photoshop, formatted files and posted in exhibition archives. Besides these main responsibilities, I would assist clients over the phone and with in person transactions during gallery events and when called upon to do so. The end of my employment was due to COVID-19 furloughs.

Harold Jones is the Founding Director of the Center For Creative Photography in Tucson and the Founding Owner of the Light Gallery in NY. He has an extensive art collection that was in need of being archived and that is how I began working with Harold and Frances. I determined a number of factors for each piece of artwork including artist name, year of creation, medium/type of process, condition, edition numbers, signature and any notations. This information was then put into a spreadsheet and each piece was then catalogued and filed safely away in acid free boxes. Frances Murray then hired me as her printer and assistant, we built a digital darkroom in their home, including an Epson 4900 printer, iMac, Eye-One Match Color Calibration Software, lateral filed cabinets and 5500k lighting overhead. Using Adobe Photoshop CS6, Frances and I skillfully edit her images and print them on archival paper for her collectors. We have printed several bodies of work to market for exhibition purposes and have produced images for two books, one titled 'The Glamour of Being Real' by Joanna Frueh and another tiled 'Constellations' by Frances Murray.

I was a founding employee for Maker House, which was a hacker space, bar, kitchen, venue, art gallery and community center that was located in the Bates Mansion, a 15,000 sq. ft. venue located in downtown Tucson. We closed operations on April 11, 2015. I acted as Art Curator and Event House Photographer for a year and a half. Responsibilities included the curation, installation, promotion and sales of art. I also photographed most events, which were used on the Maker House website and social media channels to promote the space. I observed each part of the company and filled in where needed. I wrote and sent out our newsletter, announcing our programming for the week via MailChimp email management.

Content Writer Responsibilities included creating themed curated collections of ArtFire seller products for email promotion using a combination of Filezilla, Dreamweaver and MailChimp Software. I tracked the conversion rates and overall success of these email campaigns through Google Analytics. I also managed the ArtFire Nosh blog, writing content about how to succeed in the arts, conducting interviews with artists and giving inspiration and advice to our sellers. I wrote, formatted and published the Nosh blog through Wordpress and an experienced in using plugins to optimize Wordpress. I also managed a team of virtual blog writers, which included assigning them articles, copy editing them, formatting and publishing their articles. Special projects were often implemented and managed by myself and the business team. We created the ArtFire Refer-a-Friend program using Referral Candy Software, created Terms and Conditions as well as promotional visuals for this program using Photoshop and Canva.

Ann Simmons-Myers and I produced three handmade books together and five gallery exhibitions. I was responsible for negative scanning and file editing in Adobe Photoshop, using paper profiles and icc monitor profiles to get accurately colored archival pigment prints used for gallery and museum exhibitions.

I assisted students in making archival, museum quality inkjet prints with archival inks and Epson printers. We had several models of Epson printers, the largest printing up to 45" with roll and sheet paper. I taught students how to scan their negatives or photographs for reproduction. I used color calibration equipment to make sure the screen matched the output on the prints. I instructed the students in Photoshop editing techniques with CS5 and CS6.

Mary Virginia Swanson is a Marketing Consultant for Photographers who travels the world to speak at conferences and portfolio reviews. She gives workshops on marketing your artwork and how to succeed in the modern art market. I worked as MVS's personal assistant and managed the day to day operations. This included the tracking, packaging and shipping of MVS's book orders as well as managing the MVS Wordpress Blog. In the blog I posted about upcoming opportunities for artists. I photographed many marketing materials such as handmade books, portfolios and business cards, these photos would be formatted into Keynote Presentations and MVS would use these visuals in her lectures. I organized all of the paperwork and bookkeeping from her travels and prepared it for tax season. MVS published a book titled, "Publish Your Photography Book" which I copy edited and fact checked as part of the production team.
