In addition to my duties as Production Manager of Atlanta Creative Graphics, I assumed the supervision of sister company ACG Enterprises’ manufacturing and production staff of twenty for the purpose of manufacturing a patented product for the Mead Corporation. I acted as corporate liaison to Mead Merchandising, Mead Chemical, Goodren Products, and AllPak Corporation for the express purpose of facilitating continuing improvements in this patented product.

I populated and trained the production staff, purchased capital equipment, and implemented new printing processes and technologies for the purpose of providing proprietary product to a sister company, ACG Enterprises. ACG Enterprises held a time-limited contract to produce a patented product line for the Mead Corporation.

I was a commercial artist responsible for layout, design, film-cutting, photo-typesetting, film development, and paste-up of production films for screen printing. By 1978 I was the Art Department Director and managed a staff of four. Responsibilities for this position included the direction and supervision of all pre-press films and for screen printing and all mechancals for sub-contracted work.
