With a rich background in school counseling and as an executive at a rapidly growing professional development company, Hatching Results, I am deeply committed to educational reform and advocacy.As a Senior Director at Hatching Results, I played a critical role in the company’s exponential growth, greatly increasing profits and innovation. My leadership expanded the company’s staff, operations, and product offerings. Not only did I co-found and chair an annual national conference, I was instrumental in launching profitable services such as the District Leadership Cohort, which sold out three times.Throughout my career, I have been driven by a passion for transforming school counseling into a dynamic and impactful field. My tenure with Chicago Public Schools, the third largest school district in the U.S., allowed me to serve over 850 school counselors and college and career coaches. I pioneered initiatives such as the district’s first Elementary School Counseling ASCA Model Cohort, set new standards for school counseling, and led systemic reforms that continue to benefit students and educators alike.My expertise in school counseling is recognized across the industry. I have contributed as a published author, invited lecturer, and panel member at regional and national events. I have served on the Illinois School Counselor Association board, founded the National School Counseling Leadership Conference, and received numerous awards, including the CPS District Support Award and the School Counselor Advocate of the Year.
