Recognizing the profound impact that our relational landscape can have on holistic health and well-being, I aim to facilitate the nurturing of quality relationships with the Self, with others, and with the natural world. Systemic oppression and discrimination can contribute to mental health challenges for many, and I am dedicated to moving through this world in a way that fosters justice and equity. In practice, this looks like inviting others to shine a light on spaces where I may be perpetuating oppressive practices (such as colonization and white supremacy)As a counsellor, I intend to offer a sense of presence and integration, drawing from somatic embodiment, transformational systemic therapy, attachment theory, nonviolent communication, and mindful self-compassion.
