Articulate and put into action the the mission of the organization, engaging in long term strategic planning with the board to execute goals; work with teachers and leaders at member schools to identify needs and develop programs responsive to local context; provide strategic leadership and direction to CATDC events; supervise CATDC staff; hire and supervise leaders of programs and institutes; represent the CATDC professional conferences and events; provide leadership and direction to the organization's communications; develop and manage annual budget.

Member of administrative leadership team. Oversaw professional development and evaluation process based on Standards of Excellent Teaching. Led process to develop Standards of Excellent Teaching and design comprehensive professional development and evaluation program with faculty.Set professional development goals with administrative team; took lead in planning and facilitating annual retreats and workshops. Planned and ran monthly faculty meetings with a teaching and learning focus. Served on the following standing committees: the Administrative Committee, the Upper School Heads Advisory Committee, the Curriculum Committee, the Teaching and Learning Committee.

Taught literature to students in grades 9-12 in courses with an emphasis on world literature and developing cultural competency as well as written and oral communication skills.

Initiated multifaceted program to develop cultural competency community-wide, including leading in-service training for faculty and initiating and leading the first multicultural student club on campus.Developed and oversaw curriculum for English Language Learners from Korea, Japan, Thailand and Taiwan. Taught sheltered history and literature classes. Assisted with development of summer English Language Program.

2003: Led monthly workshops for public school teachers in San Francisco Unified School District on reflective practices designed to improve teaching and learning. 2006: Developed and led five-day training for ELL instructors on reflective practice and ELL methodology2007: Developed and led two workshops on teach teaching and collaboration for primary school teachers integrating ELL students into their classrooms.

Worked closely with faculty at Marangu Teachers'​ College to develop and publish in-service training program for primary school English teachers. Program was adopted by the Ministry of Education for all future in-service training to this population. Led training of trainers'​ workshops based on this program to college faculty and administrators. Developed and delivered five day in-service training to local primary school teachers. Developed and taught a course in English teaching methodology to students enrolled in certificate program at Marangu Teachers' College.

Led Master Teacher Workshops on teaching English at Independent Schools Conducted workshops on lesson planning, assessment, gender equity and cultural competency.
