Owned and managed by the City of Austin, the Center (ACC) has 846,000gsf of exhibit space and largest ballroom is 43,000gsf. I managed a team of seven who conduct sales and contracting. ACC partners with the Austin Convention & Visitors Bureau for long term meetings and conventions. My position involved mentoring and supporting the team, managing key accounts and sponsorships, internal and external industry relations, writing sales plans and strategies, forecasting and updating budget, and many other day to day duties involving the servicing of groups. As DOS, I worked with other team units such as marketing to plan long term strategies in conjunctions with sales, as well as events to coordinate processes to execute successful events. Annual budget goals were met and exceeded.

Handled the MidWest Association market selling for the City of DC (hotels & convention center) for groups 300-2500 peak.
