I am a scientist turned finance professional with a specialism in UK/EU innovation grants. I have hands-on and advisory experience working with life science startups and scaling companies from roles in government, finance, charity, consultancy and private business. I most recently spent c.3 years as CFO with a rapidly growing biotech company where I led the Finance and Grant Teams.I'm good at listening, decision-making and taking practical steps forward. I enjoy technical analysis, strategic planning and a good spreadsheet. I am now focused on supporting early stage ventures where my life science background, chartered accountancy and grant experience sets me apart in the field.
