My entire work career has involved developing community partnerships to meet the needs of it's members. I am motivated by those more difficult needs that require me to be creative and innovative. Some of my most innovative successes was the development of Community Restaurant Program that met the meal needs of rural seniors or seniors living in food desert areas. Also the development of the Chef-on-Site Program that changed the traditional institution food provided at Senior Centers to a "farm fresh", restaurant style service thereby increasing participation. My last innovation involved building a food truck that drove to senior housing complexes providing nutritious meals to seniors who had limited food access and mobility. My most recent job involved developing partnerships with Community Based Organizations to establish a referral pathway in an effort to meet patient's social needs with a goal to reduce admissions and healthcare costs while improving quality of care. Every aspect of my work history has involved partnerships both private and public including municipal, state, community based organizations, businesses and foundations.
