Maintaining responsibility for running a video production course that was created in order to support previously disadvantaged young people (aged 18-30) gain necessary skills for employment. As such, the project’s main focus was social change, in addition to ensuring all students are effectively engaged, supported and empowered throughout the course.- Successfully trained 150+ participants, who have since found jobs as editors, cameraman and assistant directors on local and overseas productions.- Developing the course into a brand, which encouraged more engagement from prospective students. - - As such, this saw applications increase from 7 in 2013 to over 75 in 2018.

Coordinating all aspects of and project managing the African Filmmaking Fellowships, a new University of Cape Town initiative that runs concurrently with the Stepping Stone single-camera course every year from October – December. - Recruited participants from across Africa, establishing strong ties with universities on the continent.- Currently possess a wide network across Africa, including Media Practitioners, Academics and Journalists.
