Lisa Balser is an award-winning Creative Director, Strategic Brand Coach, Certified Diversity Executive (CDE®), and children's book author whose passion is purpose-driven, cause-related, needle-moving, glass-shattering work that impacts business and the people in it. Lisa’s experience includes two decades as an agency creative, where she fostered DEI efforts by developing and sustaining DEI Committees and engaging clients in the conversation. Her lived experiences around DEI and allyship drove her to launch New & Improved, a boutique collective on a mission to modernize advertising culture with a brand new approach to DEI. Since 2018, New & Improved has helped thousands of employees across North America identify and actualize their DEI Call To Action™ and move their DEI journey forward via empathy-based, impactful experiences critical to the progress the industry so desperately needs. Lisa also serves as a Creative & Strategic Brand Coach, helping solopreneurs, entrepreneurs, and businesses of all sizes strategically and creatively concept, develop, and manage their uniquely memorable brand. In addition to her work as a change agent, Lisa is a children's book author, featured awards show judge, podcast guest, speaker, panelist, moderator, and the former Director of SheSays ATL.
