I served as a Division CIO enterprise care delivery technologies and and oversaw a 3000-person team in the U.S. and global managed service groups. Responsibilities included overseeing the world’s largest civilian EHR, IT-related capital program services for construction of new hospitals and medical office buildings, advancing telehealth, interoperability, application development, and clinical ancillary systems. I served as the IT Incident Commander, which included overseeing technology efforts related to COVID-19 including mass vaccination sites and a partnership with Dignity Health, the State of California, and Kaiser Permanente to open the Los Angeles COVID-19 Surge Hospital in less than 3 weeks.I began my career in consulting at Deloitte and then rose to Partner at Accenture where I was sought out for engagements requiring blending of clients relations and delivery savvy, especially those with challenging account issues. I began my career in product and records management at vendor and healthcare provider organizations.I have been recognized as one of the “50 Most Powerful Women in Technology” by the National Diversity Council and listed among ComputerWorld’s “Premier Top 100 Leaders”. I am a former Foundation Board Member for the Barlow Respiratory Hospital. I'm a sought after speaker at industry conferences in the U.S. and abroad, most recently speaking at Digital.Health.Now on “Defining Utopia, Together” in Tel Aviv. I received an MPH in Health Information Systems from UCLA and a BS in Health Information Administration from Loma Linda University.
