I didn't always work as an instructional designer! Years ago, I fell into a role that required me to use software and help others use it, too. My love for training started then! I decided to pursue a Masters in Instructional Design at Florida State University. I did this while I worked full-time. Upon graduating, I went to work in the corporate world. I was lucky to land an instructor and course developer role at AT&T Universal Card Services. I was in my element! It was there that I realized I had the potential to start my own company and that’s what I did!Over the years, facilitation faded and instructional design took center stage. These days, it's all I do. I partner with clients to make custom training solutions. The clients come from many industries and time zones! I like working with clients in a team-based and consultative way. I do this whether I'm designing new custom courses on my own, building a small team, or working with a larger design team. I love what I do and am thankful I landed a career in Learning and Development! I’m also on the ATD South Florida Chapter board. I serve as VP of Professional Development where I help create meaningful programs.When I am not cranking out content, consulting on learning technology, or helping a client with project management or processes, you can find me hanging out with my family. My husband and daughter (currently attending Florida State University, Go Noles!) keep me busy.
