ENGN32 - Introduction to Engineering Design

Thailand

• Hosted daily MIL meetings for the next generation Google Chromecast project that was joined by internal and external stakeholders during NPI builds.
• Proposed 25+ improvement initiatives for the Surface Laptop FATP lines, garnering Operational Excellence recognition from Microsoft.
• Guided the Google Chromecast project as an S-TPM and facilitated close collaboration between cross-functional teams to resolve 38 unique issues, increasing the yield rate in the FATP lines from 96.4% in P1 to 99.6% in.

Taiwan

• Mechanical engineer for the Smart Home IoT Division. Designed robust internal structures and systems for IoT devices such as Ring Doorbells in CAD, primarily in PTC Creo and NX.
• Collaborated with cross-functional teams such as EE, RF and thermal teams to meet project specifications.

Thailand

• Designed EPE packaging for electronic components to optimize for freight and material costs.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and operation of laser cutter, blade bending machine and stamping machines.
• Worked closely with QA teams to ensure products are within specifications.

Loughborough University

• Established a club aimed at fostering a sense of community among individuals passionate about design, organizing dynamic events and social gatherings to explore diverse design disciplines.
• Finalist for the prestigious Best New Society at the National Society Awards in 2019, competing against societies from across the entire United Kingdom.
• Presented with Best New Society and Best Society in the respective section at Loughborough University for the club's outstanding contributions.
