Managed this HR Division in placing HR professionals into banking, legal and commercial companies within London.

I built up the secretarial support division of Hudson York Farrell (sister company of Career Legal) and managed a team of 6 in placing banking support staff into the investment banks and commercial companies in London. I was one of the top billers in the company.

I joined Hobstones (sister company of Crone Corkill) as my first recruitment job in London placing banking and commercial support staff. I then moved divisions to help grow a new legal team in placing legal support staff in London.

- Involvement in INSEAD’s first development & fund-raising campaign- Events/PR Officer for International Business Forum- Researching & updating INSEAD material for marketing purposes

- Took Minutes on behalf of ITV’s European Committee- Researched and produced monthly report of European legislation- Lobbied senior industry figures, European Parliamentarians & Commission Officials- Researched for lobbies & presented results in graph form- Spoke French & German daily, translated documents, interpreted when necessary- Organised conferences in England & abroad (Sponsorship presentation at European Parliament, Strasbourg)- Accompanied ITV Director to Brussels to determine viability of ITV on cable in Brussels- Monitored budgets of 2 European organisations of which ITV were members

My involvement in ITV's first international business development programme included researching & producing a database of potential new French advertisers. I was then trained in telemarketing & conducted market research interviews with target French audience. This was a non-paid position, I then was offered the job as Executive Assistant - see above.

Advised tourists of places of interest in the local area, booked hotels, dealt with complaints. Spoke for the local radio about my work and took part in television commercial. Organised stand for Rochefort at Tourism exhibition in Bordeaux. Translated & recorded Rochefort’s history for English tourists.
