As director of digital storytelling, I guided the creative approach of NGM on digital devices, and digital storytelling on ng.com. I set strategies, researched business models, explored and directed effective editorial and creative approaches for electronic delivery of content. My teams launched the iPhone edition of NGM, as well as the interactive Kindle.

Lightbox Press publishes great photojournalistic content as iPad apps. The Long Shadow of Chernobyl, by Gerd Ludwig, won 2012 First Place, Tablets, Best of Photojournalism, American Press Photographers Association. Other apps are Short Stories by Ivan Kashinsky and Karla Gachet, and Among Giants, the companion to the book, as well as producing commercial.
