The Center for Science in the Public Interest (CSPI) is a prominent food and health consumer advocacy organization, which publishes the Nutrition Action Healthletter. Collaborating with co-counsel and CSPI attorneys, as Litigation Director, I lead CSPI’s efforts to identify and bring class action litigation challenging deceptive and misleading advertising and labeling practices, primarily concerning food and supplements. I also oversee the preparation and filing of amicus briefs and CSPI’s involvement in administrative lawsuits alleging violations of the Administrative Procedure Act.

I consulted with the trial teams to improve themes and arguments in diverse cases, including those raising deceptive practices and issues under state Consumer Protection Acts and the False Claims Act.
