As General Manager at Tverga, I am responsible for the organization’s strategic development, daily operations, and financial management. I report to the board and work closely with them on long-term priorities. My role also involves implementing strategies, building teams, and ensuring a positive work environment where employees can achieve both organizational goals and their own development objectives. A key part of my work is advocating for more inclusive sports policies and improving frameworks that promote participation and accessibility across different groups in society.Through my work at Tverga, I have gained experience collaborating across sectors, including municipalities, government agencies, and private actors, to develop solutions that create more inclusive activity opportunities.As a board member of the Sparebankstiftelsen DNB, I participate in strategic discussions and evaluate grants for projects benefiting society. This work has given me valuable insight into the broad reach of voluntary initiatives, spanning areas such as nature and outdoor activities, sports and play, local communities and cultural heritage, as well as arts and culture. This breadth offers a unique perspective on how resources can strengthen communities across various purposes.In my previous role as General Manager of the Norwegian Snowboard Federation, I worked on strengthening the organization’s finances, expanding its administrative team, and increasing its visibility and influence.I am dedicated to creating strong conditions for children and young people, with a particular focus on providing opportunities for those facing barriers in their everyday lives, and ensuring that children and youth have genuine opportunities to influence decisions that affect them.
