Maybe you have been struggling with substance use, mood issues, or are just having a hard time adjusting to changes in your life. We all deal with painful circumstances and uncertainty at some point or another. It’s easy to get overwhelmed when we feel like we’re stuck in a situation and our problem isn’t getting any better. Perhaps a new perspective on the situation, or approaching It differently could be worth exploring. My goal in our work together is to introduce you to different tools that may help you navigate your situation better.Sometimes, when we have been overly focused on the negative things we are experiencing, it’s hard for us to see any positive sides of our situation. My vision is for you to leave sessions feeling optimistic and with fresh perspectives in approaching your problems.I prefer using solution focused, and shorter term approaches. Many of us already know what the problem is and what led us there; we’ve just run out of ideas on how to fix it. Let’s explore solutions for the problem instead of what caused it. My hope is that this will help you reach your goals, and feel better sooner rather than later.
