I have been a professional artist for about 30 years. I started my career as a graphic designer and continue it today. But in the last 15 years I have been sculpting in various mediums. My current work I use high fire clay in many different clay bodies. Throughout the years of exploring different mediums I found one thing in common. I love the human form, expression, color and a lot of texture. I just love bringing this slab of clay to life. I make many of my own press stamps to create unique patterns and textures for sculptures. The glazes that are used are specifically picked for each texture to allow the beauty of that pattern to break through. The whimsical position of the sculptures gives each one of them their own unique personality. .
