Account Manager
CurrentAccount Manager for LabSource. My role includes maintaining effective customer relations, selling laboratory, safety/biosecurity and life science products to achieve sales, profit forecasts and drive the customer buying process. Maintain long-term relationships with an extensive network of contacts. Manage 100 accounts that produce $1.8 million dollar in annual sales. Accounts include laboratories in the government, academic, biotechnology, contract research, environmental and public sector. Working directly with the end users that have backgrounds in microbiology, molecular, virology, toxicology, genetics and infectious disease. Participate in training and development programs to maintain product knowledge while offering customers solutions for their laboratory and production lines. Growing knowledge in plasticware for the lab automation market.Attends trade/vendor exhibits for the purpose of learning and promoting new products.
