After about a year working at Twincraft, I was promoted to the People Center Generalist. In this role I focus on the administration of the day-to-day HR duties, including weekly payroll processing and being the "expert" of our HRIS, benefit enrollment & claim resolution, managing different types of leave requests, recruiting initiatives & our ATS system, staffing at both Twincraft facilities from a full time and temporary staff perspective, workers compensation management, and employee events. In HR, you never know what your day will bring and I love the flexibility and challenge that it brings.

As the HR Coordinator, I worked to assist the Director of HR in an administrative capacity. Through this, I supported weekly payroll processing by overseeing non-exempt time cards, preparation and updating of paperwork and files including submitting the information into the proper database, supporting our recruiting efforts, and overall knowledge and compliance with labor laws in a manufacturing environment.

Hosted one-on-one informational interviews with prospective Champlain students. Managed the Student Engagement Team, a volunteer admissions event group. Scheduled and facilitated meetings, delegated tasks at events, organized students schedules, and kept constant communication with students via email and in-person meetings.

Completed all data entry tasks for prospective students at Champlain college. Processed mailed-in application materials, scanned and linked mailings, entered in information to the Ellucian database. Proficient with Ellucian, the online database system used by Champlain. Managed the main Admissions phone line, and directed questions to the appropriate areas and departments of Champlain.

Communicated with prospective students and their families about all social and academic aspects of Champlain College. Gave informative campus tours that represented the residential and academic campus. As a LEAD Ambassador, I was also responsible for making sure all other Student Ambassadors were trained, updated, and well-informed for giving campus tours. This included weekly meetings with the supervisors to facilitate communication and updates, as well as weekly team meetings with all employees.

Assisted 12 incoming first year students while they settled into the college experience, as well as lead them through the rest of the year. Also, facilitated LEAD workshops alongside Career Services staff. This entailed giving students feedback on their resumes, cover letters, and Linkedin Profiles.

As a temporary summer position, I acted as the assistant to the Associate Dean for Students, and Director of Student Success. Was in charge of scheduling appointments with faculty, staff, and students, and also reminding them of upcoming appointments. Also responsible for any other office work such as filing, mailing, and putting together spreadsheets.
