Specialized in forensic analysis related to construction and contract disputes which include delay, disruption, and resultant damages on a variety of construction matters including pipelines, airports, power plants, wind turbine farms, hospitals, rail, roads, museums, residential facilities, stadiums, schools, natural gas treatment facilities, and commercial and retail buildings. A team member that has prepared and critiqued construction claims related to breach of contract, and consulted on numerous projects where efforts have primarily involved cost and schedule analysis, construction cost audits, report preparation, and client support.

On contract with Zachry to help finish out a Level 4 data facility owned by Sabre. Interfaced with the owner, audited subcontractor's pay applications, created punch lists, and coordinated subcontractors to ensure that scopes of work were complete.

A project which consisted of the addition of 18,000 s.f. (adjacent to existing operating rooms) and construction of operating rooms, recovery rooms, a waiting room, a library, and offices. We also demolished and remodeled another 13,000 s.f. of second floor space in the heart of the children's hospital.- Responsible for conducting subcontractor project kick-off meetings, buyout and contract execution, reviewed owner direct and Linbeck subcontractor’s monthly billing, tracked project changes and RFIs for one half of the Linbeck subcontractors (electrical, mechanical, fire protection, finishes, metal/wood/lam casework, stone and terrazzo flooring, walls/ceilings, and others). - Responsible for the owner direct subcontractors (fire alarm, controls, nurse call system, medical equipment, and furniture).- Interfaced with the architect and engineer to complete missing design elements and worked through design issues.- Worked with the pathologists to redesign the partially completed Autopsy area.Nurse Call Upgrade - Project Manager on a small project updating the existing nurse call system. Submitted paperwork for a hospital budget revision, coordinated with the client and end users, coordinated Linbeck carpenters and nurse call owner direct subcontractor.

Mar 1999 – Aug 1999 Rice University, New Wiess College – Houston, Texas: Assistant Project Manager - A contract to build intramural fields. Responsible for assembly of the bid package, coordinated relocation of large oak and elm trees, and coordinated installation of the intramural fields.Sep 1998 – Feb 1999 Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Building Additions – Ft. Myers, Florida: Assistant Project Manager - A contract to add 9,500 sf of classrooms, dressing rooms, and a sponsors' pavilion. Responsibilities included cost control, submittals, RFIs, field coordination/support, and close out.Jul 1996 - Sep 1998 Bayshore High School - Bradenton, Florida: Assistant Project Manager - The design-build project consisted of 4 buildings totaling 270,000 sf. My primary responsibility was project cost which included weekly client budget review/approval, B&R management review, accounts payable, and quarterly projections. The first year my responsibilities included RFIs, documentation, and submittals. I also assisted with college recruiting for BRBC.Sep 1995 - Jul 1996 LA MetroMall - Los Angeles, California: Assistant Project Manager - The project was to be a 1.5 mil. sf outlet mall built on a former landfill. I was responsible for the building portion of the GMP, which included development of piling, concrete, and structural steel costs with a structural engineer. I worked with contractors who bid on the building, answered RFIs, processed estimates, created the proposal for the owner, and tracked project costs.Jul 1995 - Sep 1995 Southport Infrastructure Project, Palamidessi Bridge - West Sacramento, California: Assistant Project Manager - BRBC contracted with the City of West Sacramento to work on a master infrastructure implementation plan and Palamidessi Bridge preconstruction tasks. Part of the team who prepared the proposal for the bridge, roadway, and railroad. Prepared general condition costs and assisted with the preconstruction report presented to the City.

Civil, On Call Construction Contract - Houston, Texas: Office Engineer - OCCC provided full service engineering, procurement, construction, and construction management for rapid response turnkey projects of a high priority nature for Air Force Space and Missiles Center controlled facilities worldwide. Prepared project proposals and scopes of work, prepared and issued as-built drawings and O & M manuals, tracked project progress, updated schedules, assisted site personnel in interpretation of drawings and specifications, prepared RFP documents for subcontracts, and other things as required.Nov 1992 - Jan 1993 Brown & Root, Inc. Forest Products, Champion Paper Mill - Newsprint Operations - Sheldon, Texas: Systems Inspector - Responsible for all aspects of systems checkout including development of punch list documentation for mechanical, instrumentation, architectural, and electrical systems, and tracked craft progress for turnover of these systems. Expedited fieldwork effort through field supervision using system punch and client generated requests.Jun 1991 - Oct 1992 Brown & Root, Inc. Power Business Unit, Comanche Peak Steam Electric Station - Glen Rose, Texas: Safety Programs Manager - Analyzed safety processes and recommended adjustments, set up/maintained control charts, reported results to site/home office management, co-designed, implemented, and managed Safety Incentive Program (for approx. 2,000 employees). The program was designed to expose new/recent graduates to various aspects of the construction and engineering fields within Brown & Root. Additionally, the program included participation in other activities related to financial, organizational, technical, and community issues.During this time I worked on projects for Brown & Roots' marine, industrial services, power, pulp and paper, and project management service divisions in various locations in the United States and Bahrain.
