I have 31 years of experience in education. I spent 14 years as an English/Reading teacher (6th - 9th grade). I have been a principal for 7 years in several school systems in the Houston area, and I've lead schools at all 3 levels (primary, middle, and high). I am the founding school leader of KIPP NEXUS Primary & Middle School which opened in 2017. May 1, 2020, I transitioned out of the School Leader role, and Worked as a Deputy Head of Schools for KIPP San Antonio. I’m currently a DIS (Director of Instructional Support) with Instruction Partners.
