About Lisa Mccooey Mica Lcoi

I have been active in the Anti-Money Laundering ("AML") Compliance space since 2015. I have particular expertise in the area of AML, customer due diligence and beneficial ownership requirements. Prior to joining LGIM as Financial Crime Manager, I was employed by KB Associates to act as the Money Laundering Reporting Officer (“MLRO”) to Irish and Cayman investment funds and advise them on AML issues. I was responsible for providing guidance and expertise on AML documentation to fund boards, reviewing and testing the AML procedures of fund administrators, providing training to directors and reporting to the directors on AML compliance matters. I was also responsible for establishing and overseeing the beneficial ownership register services that KB Associates provides.Prior to this, I held the position of Senior AML Specialist with PwC Ireland with responsibility for supervising the internal AML function. I also worked in various AML roles with Citco Fund Services and Regus.I hold the Professional Diploma in Compliance with the Institute of Bankers, the International Diploma in AML with the International Compliance Association and hold professional memberships with these institutions (LCOI/MICA). I have also completed a Certificate in Investment Fund Foundations with the CFA Institute.
