I set up my own business as a freelance designer working in my spare time. The many commissions I have worked on include the design of logos, business cards, leaflets and invites. In addition to this I created my own website and actively use social media to promote my business and market my work.I have proven myself as not only an excellent communicator and administrator but a good time keeper to help me to meet my deadlines effectively.

I returned to my previous employer in a more senior position. Unfortunately I was made redundant due to company difficulties.

I worked in a busy design studio, designing greetings cards, giftwrap and gift bags for both wholesale and major high street retailers and leading supermarkets. This role involved working to tight deadlines both as a team member and autonomously. I worked to briefs as well as coming up with my own ideas. This role helped me to develop an excellent eye for detail to and work accurately and precisely. I used Photoshop, Illustrator and Painter, using each program differently in order to achieve the desired style. I’m very versatile with how I design and can easily swap and change from one style of work to the next.
