• Part of the team undertaking a programme of work looking to extract the Resourcing & Learning/Development functions out of another Capita business and move them over to Capita Resourcing.• This project has developed a new Target Operating Model, new partner relationships, new technology (PeopleFluent), a solid transition/transformation, and service improvements & efficiency savings.• My role, as a key part of the project, is onboarding/payroll, as the business currently onboard up to 7500 employees pa.• Initial responsibilities were to get the existing process under control:• Revise the current controls through review of end to end payroll process• Manage the payroll process effectively, make improvements in the short-term• Have a hands on approach with the team to ensure effectual roll out of process improvements• Work with Payroll and other internal colleagues across the wider business (Back Office Processing, IT and Document Control)• Provide regular updates to the project team, including programme director and account director on process in line with the implementation of the a new ATS system• Ensure all new starters c600-800 per month are paid on time• This work has been critical to stabilise the current operation, and also to inform the wider project (where the transformed onboarding process will be a major benefit).• Review the current on-boarding and employee HR file retrieval process to ensure compliance• Interim Manager of the Central Resourcing Admin team who look after the on-boarding of all new starters into the business, Foreign Nationals, Right to Work audits
