Led complex, cross-functional, global transformation initiatives for Estee Lauder, as an Independent Consultant. Started with a 6 month contract and 10 years later, I completed my 7th project for this premier, luxury, beauty company. Initiatives included:- Led efforts to update processes, roles and technology to incorporate new cosmetics regulations in China (CSAR). Worked closely with R&D, Marketing, Legal, Regulatory and Supply Chain to plan and implement required changes in stages across multiple years to meet regulatory timelines.- As a trusted Advisor to Senior Legal, R&D and Supply Chain Leadership, Project Managed a complex, global initiative involving every region and major market.- Project Managed the creation of MAC's 3 year Innovation Strategy. - Project Managed the design and implementation of new Visual Merchandising units to be deployed across all US Department Stores for Clinique. Quantified the costs of the new units, tracked the development schedule, and worked with Marketing to determine and optimize the assortment to be displayed.- Project Managed the company's largest restructuring effort, involving 40 programs. - Project-managed the launch of a new retail store concept for Clinique including Store Design, Visual Merchandising, Education, Operations. Piloted the new concept, adjusted based on research and input, and rolled out to 20+ additional free standing and department stores- Project-managed the design and implementation of an innovative global package labeling approach, which has been adopted as the industry standard.
