My name is Lisa Molendini and I earned my first 200-hour Yoga Alliance registered yoga teacher certification in 2021, focused on power vinyasa yoga. In February of 2023, I completed another 200-hour, broader-based yoga teacher training through the InfinitYoga Training program presented by NearMe Yoga and Mrida Seva Yoga. I am currently enrolled in a 300-hour teacher training through BodSphere® so that upon completion I will carry the RYT 500®+ certification.I was a cum laude graduate of Susquehanna University with a degree in communications (public relations emphasis), and minors in advertising and American history. In addition to my teacher training certifications, I have completed continuing education hours in restorative yoga teacher training, teaching to those at the very beginning of their yoga journey, neurodiversity-informed mindfulness, yoga for addiction and disordered eating recovery, Qigong-inspired chair yoga, and many more. I am also a certified meditation teacher and Usui Reiki practitioner. I strive to expand my knowledge to the many various styles and techniques within the yoga world. Additionally, I am trained in providing “Yoga for All Abilities” classes for neurodiverse teens and adults, and teach “Movement, Music, and Mindfulness” classes specifically geared toward children and young teens.I currently teach in-person group classes at the Tree of Life Shoppe in Ringtown, Pennsylvania, River Run Center for the Healing Arts in Weatherly, Pennsylvania, Mrida Seva Yoga in Berwick, Pennsylvania, and Peace of Mind Yoga in Sugarloaf, Pennsylvania, in addition to many special events, workshops, pop-up events and Zoom classes. I also get to share weekly yoga sessions with the amazing folks doing the hard work at a local addiction recovery center, and as a specialized instructor providing free classes to the community through the Greater Wyoming Valley YMCA’s Wellbeing Initiative program via a grant from the Federal Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration.I am proud to share that I have offered classes at the annual Northeastern Pennsylvania Yoga Festival at Montage Mountain, the Summit Hill Hootenanny and Inclusion Festival in Pennsylvania, the Northeast Pennsylvania Wild Women Festival, OhmFest Yoga Art and Music Festival in Dover, Delaware, and Ramble Festival in Darlington, MD. I also served in the role of workshop coordinator at Inclusion Festival 2023. Several festivals are already on my agenda for 2024, including the inaugural Transcend Fest at Powder Ridge Mountain in Connecticut.

We advertise and promote special WQSU events and fundraisers, including our annual sponsorship of the Marine Corps Toys for Tots Campaign in the Central Susquehanna Valley, and our annual Bluegrass Festival. In the works is the launch of a mascot, "The PULSE Penguin," a first in the station's 41-year history. WQSU-FM is the 3rd-most-powerful college radio station in the state (reaching about a 70-mile radius), and is the 10th-most-powerful non-commercial station in Pennsylvania.
