In 2000, I created Cactus & Ivy, which manufactured bath and body products. In 2011, I closed the manufacturing side down, due to a hand injury. Late 2017, I gave new live to my company. I'm an entrepreneur who adjusted her sails. Refurbishing, renewing, and reusing old wood, various parts, and furniture, has been something I've wanted to do for several years. I'm finally moving forward. I don't know if turning a company from a specific product line, to the polar opposite, is frowned upon. I worked hard to create Cactus & Ivy, and I can't imagine ever putting it away for good. So, as I give old wood new life, I am doing the same with Cactus & Ivy. I am keeping the name, because, well, I love it. It's a huge part of me, and I refuse to let it be a memory.

Project photographer documenting the No More Lies & Bruises Project, which was created to raise awareness of Domestic Violence issues not only in Greenwood County, but also in the State of South Carolina, across the United States and beyond.It started with a Man who decided that enough was enough so he and some friends wrote a song entitled "Lies & Bruises." From there, the Local Women's Shelter became involved, and a local musician sang the song, a local photographer took some pictures and developed a Facebook page, and some more friends became involved, and they started a committee, and they started having meetings and from here we grow.Today is the beginning, the end is not in sight...https://www.facebook.com/NoMoreLiesAndBruises

I'm a natural light photographer, I live in the south and I use the word y'all....a lot! I love candid, not posed. Flowing, not stiff. I shoot pictures based on the life that surrounds my clients. In addition to people, I capture animals, landscape and architect. In a nutshell....I capture life.
