• Oversee PR campaigns for all repertory series, festivals, special events, in-house magazine Film Comment, and institutional publicity for the organization as well as a department of two publicists and additional.
• Supervise all publicity components of the prestigious New York Film Festival including announcement strategy, press and industry accreditation and screenings, red carpets, and studio and talent relations.
• Direct external PR agency in securing press on the festival, and oversee FLC publicists’ campaigns on specialty festival sidebars.
• Manage partner relationships on behalf of the publicity department for co-presented festivals such as New Directors/New Films and Rendez-Vous with French Cinema. Work with external publicists and studio representatives.
• Develop strategies and systems to continually improve department efficiency and increase positive press coverage, to elevate the visibility and promote the mission of the organization.
• Major campaigns include NYFF53–58, New Directors/New Films 2016–2020, Chaplin Gala 2016–2019, Luchino Visconti retrospective, 50th Anniversary Gala and rebrand.
