Volunteered for the Award, responsible for expanding youth participation in the non-formal education Award from private schools in Kathmandu to a broader audience. Proposals secured c.£25million for programming, advocacy and humanitarian response, from donors including the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the European Commission, and UNICEF. Developed, oversaw and trained staff globally in proposal, logframe and budget development and new grant management processes and systems.

As manager, then head of team, oversaw production of 50-90 proposals and supporting fundraising documents a month, resulting in over £47 million being secured within three years. Led on bids securing over £17 million. Developed a capacity building programme resulting in over 100 staff globally receiving proposal writing and grant management training.

Escorted groups of 10-16 people on one to two-week historical, cultural and walking tours cross Greece, the Gambia, Senegal and Croatia.
