Having seen so many companies attempt and fail to implement XML content management solutions, she immediately recognized the gap that SmartDocs was filling. Letting writers stay in MS Word and get full content management at a fraction of the cost and time required. The opportunity for user success rates was off the charts, as opposed to the repeated failures she had seen with XML implementations. Lisa decided it was worth the risk to take a leap of faith and join 36Software. Now, relationships with her customers are what drive Lisa’s passion for problem solving. Her experience spans over 15 years working with different tools, corporate writing teams, translation, and content development methods. Now, leading the charge with her company’s sophisticated yet user-friendly product, she gets the pleasure of seeing her customers succeed in ways they never thought possible with their Word content. Many companies are so deeply rooted in their inefficient processes that they don’t even recognize there is a way out.
