I'm a visual artist living and working in Sydney. After graduating from the Sydney College of the Arts, with a major in Printmaking, I was awarded a scholarship to study Painting at the Rijks Academie in The Netherlands. I ended up staying for 17 years in Amsterdam, exhibiting both in Holland and back in Australia. In that time I worked as art teacher at the International School in Amsterdam and contributed to the art curriculum for the International Baccalaureate. I also completed training with Harvard University, Reggio Emilia in Italy, and the Open University of London. In 2007 I returned to Australia permanently and set up an art studio in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs. It's the base now for my painting practice and art classes. I love the openness and imagination of children and most of my workshops now are for kids. I completed my Master of Fine Arts in Painting at the National Art School in Sydney at the end of 2018. In 2019 I was awarded a residency with Waverley Artist Studios in Bondi. In the same year I held a solo exhibition of monochrome paintings at Stacks Projects Space in Kings Cross. I curated an exhibition at Airspace Projects in Marrickville and contributed to a number of group shows. I have prints and paintings in major public collections including the Australian National Gallery, University of Canberra, Print Council of Australia, and various private collections.
