With over 30 years of business leadership, I bring a wealth of experience and insight from my roles as an entrepreneur, investor, advisor, NYSE company executive, public accounting manager and CPA. Currently I'm an entrepreneur and angel investor, I'm on the Board of Anatomie Fashion (www.anatomie.com), a growing luxury fashion travel and athleisure brand (our customers say it’s Lululemon meets Prada) and I'm past Board Chair and current Board Member of The Strategic Forum. Among my notable achievements has been helping Zumba Fitness from 2008-2018 grow into the largest branded fitness program in the world, with an instructor network and classes in 186 countries, a consumer products business, and we launched and built a sizable global e-commerce apparel business. I also as Co-Founder and Executive Vice President led ProAct Technologies, one of the first online financial services marketplaces in the late 90s, where we helped employees of major corporations make smarter purchases of personal financial products such as auto/home insurance, mortgages, auto loans and more. The team and I raised over $300 million of capital, built our network of 80+ financial service providers and we had corporate customers representing 5 million employees when we sold the business to a major commercial insurer. Prior to that I was an executive participating in the successful turnaround and repositioning of a several hundred million dollar division of Equifax Inc., a NYSE corporation. The division was later spun out as a separate NYSE company, ChoicePoint Inc. ChoicePoint was later purchased by RELX Group. I started my career in public accounting as a CPA and was an Audit Manager with Arthur Andersen.Along with my husband and a partner we own and operate, with our team in Colorado, Indie Salons Luxury Studios (www.indiesalons.com), where we empower beauty entrepreneurs to be successful. I’ve been a member of Miami Angels since 2015. And I'm on the Advisory Board of Team Yellow (www.teamyellow.org), Pharrell Williams' initiative to even the odds through education. I'm passionate about supporting and empowering entrepreneurs, start-ups, and innovators, and having a positive impact on people and the world.
