PFAU Academic Writing is an educational HUB for academic and professional communication aimed at fostering personal growth, creativity and self-compassion through writing. Since 2013, it has grown from a one-person tutoring and editing show to a team of editors, coaches, and admin staff who help students and young professionals to reach their full potential on the page, and in life. We support high school/college/university/gtrad students through the process of developing exceptional academic and professional leadership skills by offering support developing research papers, presentations, school and career-related applications, and professional reports and communication documents. We provide a combination of one-on-one coaching, editing, and workshops/courses. Some notable clients/partners have been University of Toronto Indigenous Educational Network, University of Toronto Asian Institute, University of Toronto Department of Political Science, University of Alberta Alumni Association, and University in the Community.

Worked as a consultant to develop and teach their weekend writing program, which includes three levels of courses for ages 7-17.**I continue to run a few week-long writing courses for them over the summer break. Creative Writing (ages 7 to 10) - Focused on students learning how to express themselves through poetry and short stories, as well as, expanding their vocabulary and grammar skills.Pre-Essay Writing (ages 11 to 14) - Encouraged students to think both creatively and critically by producing both fiction and non-fiction pieces inspired by famous poets, authors, and writers. Learn how to improve style, flow, and structure of written work.Essay Writing (ages 14 to 18) - Analyze creative works, as well as, produce some of their own. Focus on high level vocabulary, literary techniques, structure, and grammar. Encourages students to start developing their own writing style.

Provided tutoring and editing in social sciences and humanities to high school and university students, as well as ESL support to students of all ages and abilities, including corporate clients and kindergartens academic editing, and ESL while living in Canada, US, and China. This ranged from essay support, exam prep, applications coaching, individualized language courses, and substantive editing. I also published various written pieces based on my experiences in China too.

-Administered a demographic questionnaire to 10 women out of 180 women sample.-Designed and led weekly cross-cultural educational seminars-Compiled binder of research for TTC advocacy campaign

-Worked with Chinese and Canadian teams to ensure the effective and timely implementation of all project tasks, timelines, and agreements.-Assisted in the development and implementation of research design, methods, and instruments.-Helped to organize the program and logistics for our Shanghai Symposium on HIV for professionals across China in the field. -Translated and prepared annual/progress reports, minutes, and field documents/materials.

-Helped to organize health conference between UofT and Peking University-Composed daily and weekly press reports, government reports, and briefing notes on China

Taught 2 tutorials: Political Theory and Comparative Politics-Prepared and presented simplified explanations of course materials in lecture/discussion format. -Listened to and effectively addressed all student questions/concerns, including grade appeals.-Evaluated and provided constructive feedback of student assignments and tutorial participation.
