With 13+ years of experience in hospitality and events, both from the vendor and client perspective, I bring a collaborative and innovative spirit to find high-impact, results-driven solutions that meet the needs of both colleagues and clients.Notable projects include:* Design & implementation lead for VentureWell's OPEN 2022 virtual conference hub, which allowed nearly 600 registrants to navigate the conference offerings, attend sessions, and asynchronously network with fellow participants in a conference that was designed to be highly interactive despite the virtual manner in which we gathered.* Leveraged Swoogo, an event management tool, to design a way for participants in VentureWell's hybrid training programs to sign up for weekly office hours with a variety of mentors, while also providing VentureWell staff and program mentors with reporting and insights into office hour participation and which mentors participants were most eager to engage with. This use-case for Swoogo has been expanded beyond the initial pilot cohort to five cohorts across three training programs, and counting.* Took the initiative to spearhead sourcing and contracting for wedding groups at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Hadley, MA. This sales segment had not been explicitly pursued at that time, the previous management team believing it to not be lucrative enough to dedicate staff time to that sales segment. I developed that sales pipeline to encompass nearly 20% of the hotel's monthly revenue during the summer and fall months, and trained sales managers at other hotels to gain similar results with the wedding sales segment.
