ECSE endorsed teacher, who travels between classrooms or programs to consult with general education teachers and/or to provide direct services to individual children as needed. While the general education teacher serves as the primary teacher, my position, as the ECSE itinerant teacher, is to design supplemental and specialized learning opportunities to address each child’s goals, as indicated in the Individual Education Program (IEP). Together, the general education teacher and I determine how to embed learning opportunities throughout the day and how to monitor the child’s progress to ensure learning.
