In 1998, I joined Hicks’ executive leadership team as the first ever Director of Human Resources and Administration to offer my diverse experience in managing human resources, contracts, and administration and strong business acumen. As a member of the executive leadership team, I am responsible for working with the owner and key executives to develop strategic priorities, objectives, operating plans, and budgets as well as to build and lead human resources. As the Director of Human Resources and Administration, I am responsible for planning, managing, directing, and overseeing all facets of human resources, contracts, and administration.

In 2001, I joined the inaugural Board of Directors of Mt. Diablo Soccer Club as a volunteer where we began a non-profit, competitive soccer league in Clayton, California. Always having a passion for working with youth and families, I wanted to support my community and make a positive impact on the lives I touched. I worked with Mt. Diablo Soccer Club as a Board Member and also with CYSA District IV and CYSA North performing various volunteer duties and participating on various committees. Each year, we worked together as a Board to grow the club and in 2007; we had more than 35 competitive teams. In 2008, through a strategic merger, Diablo Futbol Club was formed as a competitive youth soccer organization through the merger of Diablo Valley Soccer Club (founded in 1991) and Mt. Diablo Soccer League (founded 2001).

Cardno ENTRIX is an environmental and natural resource management consultancy providing a broad suite of services in Water Resources Management, Natural Resources Management, Permitting & Compliance, and Liability Management. At Cardno ENTRIX, I grew in parallel with the rapid growth of the company. I functioned as the West Coast Administrative Manager, the first Human Resources specialist for the firm, and the Manager of Contracts Administration. Developed the firm’s original Affirmative Action Plan, Employment Handbook, Hiring Guidelines, and drug testing program in response to the oil and pipeline industries’ requirements. Developed and implemented all of the hiring guidelines, policies and procedures to support the companies AAP and successfully trained all senior management and managers on the program. Successfully managed a detailed federal and state audit, both of which we passed successfully. I worked with Senior Staff to prepare RFPs and coordinate projects and staff.
