Starting out in 1984 right out of high school with a small hometown owned bank in Franklin, Tennessee called Williamson County Bank as a teller and working my way up (through the "glass ceiling") to Branch Manager through many mergers and acquisitions. All the while reaching and keeping the branches sales performance with the 18 employees at an all time high by selling the banks products, i.e. automobile loans, equity loans, mortgage loans and new credit cards and cross selling other products offered by the bank. I also held the position of Regional Sales Mgr for the State of Tennessee for Indirect Lending which included traveling the State cold calling on new automobile dealerships and selling the banks auto loan products and keeping detailed performance expectations for the current dealerships in the territory. I also had to keep compliance records and performed on-site reviews of each dealership and gathered ongoing financial information for the bank's files. For a short time, I transferred to Dallas, Texas to start up 13 branches with Bank of America for a new division of in-store grocery-store branch banking with Kroger. After returning to Tennessee, I was then promoted to V.P. of Commercial Real Estate, managing a portfolio of $25 million dollars. From small-town Bank to large corporate bank - to owning my own business, as you can every phase of my working life, I've had to hone new skills to sell new things, all the while learning and re-learning the importance of hard work, determination and great customer service.
