I was self employed while studying for my degree. Working on logos, invites, posters, booklets, ezines and page designing for various newspapers. During this time I designed and wrote the HTML for my portfolio website.

I joined RE&D when Independent News and Media outsourced their newspaper and magazine production work in 2007. I have worked extensively on the Irish Independent News, Business, Sport and Features sections, Health and Living, Day and Night, Property, Weekend and FIT magazines; the Evening Herald and Herald AM; Sunday Independent. Managing weekly page layout, design, colour correction, cutouts, new title work and direction, information graphics, maps, self promotional ads, New supplements 30-40 pages.- For the last two years I have exclusively worked on FIT magazine (a running fitness weekly magazine) since its inception. - Designed FIT from conception, its logo and branding- Managing weekly page layout, sourcing pictures, art directing photo-shoots- Weekly promotional print ads- Branding for the FIT City Series 10k run, ads and point-of-sale material- Social Media engagement: motivational quotes and comment all to lead back to FIT magazine website- Manage FIT magazine website, content, sourcing stories and pictures

As a Graphic Artist with the Irish Independent I work on many of their titles. Working on page mastheads, timeline graphics, information graphics, maps, page layout/design, new titles and conception.
