 Develop and maintain a comprehensive school counseling program following the ASCA School Counseling Model Provide classroom guidance lessons addressing personal and social topics.  Provide immediate, short-term, solution-based therapy for all students. Refer to outside therapists when more intensive therapy is needed. Address any crisis intervention that may arise. Consult with teachers, parents, administration, and outside agencies as needed.  Administer and assist with standardized testing onsite monthly. Help students discern skills and interests for potential careers. Provide student support through the college application process. Track student academic progress and ensure college prerequisites are met. Serve as a liaison with college admissions representatives. Assist with research and providing information on financial aid and scholarships for families

 Plan and organize nine months of weekly catechetical classes for adults wanting to join the Catholic faith. Implemented the LifeTeen and Edge Catholic Youth programs in the parish. Plan and organize catechetical, social and service events weekly for both middle school and high school youth. Plan and organize a monthly LifeTeen Mass for the parish. Created a bereavement program, which includes meeting with the bereaved families to assist in planning the funeral, attend funeral to implement the plans and comfort the family, provide any bereavement hospitality that is needed, and follow-up with families in weeks following. Responsible for maintaining a Safe Environment for the children in both the school and the parish by implementing the VIRTUS program provided by the Diocese of Savannah. This includes teaching the VIRTUS classes to all employees and volunteers, running background checks on all employees and volunteers, keeping updated Safe Environment records for church and school, and completing a yearly Diocesan audit.

 Created comprehensive Guidance program for Kindergarten through 8th grade. Provided individual and group counseling for students.  Developed and implemented anti-drug and anti-bullying programs for the school. Performed academic and behavioral assessments of students when needed. Referred students to outside community academic and/or behavioral agencies when appropriate. Conducted all standardized testing for grades 1-8.

 Managed and trained staff of approximately 30 employees.  Responsible for hiring, training, firing, scheduling, inventory and ordering of food, beverages and supplies Handled all financial aspects of restaurant: deposits, billing, payroll, taxes, etc.  Provided excellent customer service to both tourist and local patrons.

 Answered the crisis hotline and performed initial clinical assessments of patients. Determined if inpatient or outpatient treatment was necessary from the patient’s initial evaluation.  Pre-certified patient admissions with insurance companies. Worked closely with doctors to implement patients’ treatment plans.

 Conducted individual and group counseling sessions with adult psychiatric, geriatric, adolescent, and alcohol and drug patients.  Gained strong knowledge of agency’s policies and procedures.
