About Lisa Rand, Mba
Lisa Rand is a senior marketing executive with expertise in marketing, brand management, advertising, communications and business development. Lisa is currently Vice President, Marketing and Communications for Cure Alzheimer’s Fund, a non-profit organization that funds scientific research around the world to find a cure. Prior to that she was the Executive Director of Marketing and Communications for New England Baptist Hospital in Boston, MA. She was the Director of Marketing and Public Affairs for Continuum Cancer Centers of New York, the combined oncology service line for Beth Israel Medical Center, St. Luke’s and Roosevelt Hospitals, and NY Eye and Ear Infirmary. In this role she was responsible for supporting business development efforts, special projects for physicians and program leadership, and physician CME and other events in addition to consumer advertising, brand management, collateral and online. Prior to being awarded this expanded role, Lisa held the position of Director of Program Planning and Development for Aptium Oncology – first with St. Vincent’s Hospital and then with Beth Israel Medical Center. Lisa played a large role in ensuring effective communications and a smooth transition as St. Vincent’s Comprehensive Cancer Center was re-branded to become the Beth Israel Comprehensive Cancer Center - West Campus.Lisa was the Director of Marketing and Communications for the New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation where she directed city-wide marketing campaigns and health outreach initiatives. At HHC, she was a leader in the creation and development of "Take Care NY", the City’s comprehensive health policy and campaign to help all New Yorkers live longer and healthier lives. Lisa also held marketing positions in other industries including three years in the advertising agency world.Lisa received her Masters in Business Administration and her undergraduate degree from the University at Buffalo in Buffalo, NY.
